Acceptance of Donations: Dick moved to accept the Hunt donation, Roberta seconded. Dick motioned to accept the Donations Report, Roberta seconded, all approved.
                               
REPORTS:
                  Secretary’s Report—Lisa Wiley: Roberta motioned to accept minutes, Gillian seconded. All approved.
                  Town Bookkeeper’s Report: not available for January
                  Treasurer’s Report—Flo Marsh: Roberta moved to accept report pending audit. Dick seconded. All approved.
                  Director’s Report—Donna Straitiff: Roberta moved to accept report, Gillian seconded. All approved.
                                                      Donna added that she has added two new      reports to our packets to help show overall year-to-date budget and cashflow.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Review of Weeding Policy: Dick moved to accept the policy as edited. Roberta seconded. All approved.
2. Distribution of Policies for Review in March. The Safety and Security Policy and Use of the Meeting Room policies will be reviewed for March approval.
3. Historic Buildings Tour: May 28th, the Library will be closed during the parade, but will be open following for the tour.
4. Donna-Jury Duty Selection March 12 & April 9
5. Hunt Grant-$2000 was accepted for donation to Library.
6. L-Chip Grant: Gillian reported that the process for the grant application is beginning, with the mandatory grant workshop on May 1st, and the final application due in June. Discussion of who will attend and write the project, as well as getting the repair estimates within the timeframe for applying for the grant. Dick will speak with Mike Cloutier to get the estimates. Gillian, Roberta and possibly Karla will attend the workshop.
7. Picnic Table: Discussion of purchasing a table for outside summer use. No decision, pending further discussion.
8. Donna pursued a travelling exhibit of youth artwork from the Ukraine. The display is called Peace of the World Art, and will be brought to the Library in October.
9. Website is still under construction, but very close to being completed.
10. Donna advised that the Teen Advisory Board wishes to make some decorative changes to the walls in the Youth Room. These changes would involved moving furniture and paintings, and adding panels for their own art.

OTHER GROUP REPORTS:

1. Ingalls 1894 Association: Once the warrant article is passed, work towards the new carpet in the Children’s Room and the quilt raffle will proceed.
2. Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: no meeting, Irish Dancers will be coming to the Meeting House for March 17th, and the Friends have volunteered to provide some refreshments.
3. Karla reported that there is a Franklin Pierce University student who is working with the Rindge Historical Society, who might be nice to have present for a library event.

Roberta motioned to adjourn at 5:30, Dick seconded. All approved.
