TRUSTEE MEETING
Minutes
Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Trustees Present: Karla MacLeod, Gillian L’Eplattenier, Roberta Gordenstein, Flo Marsh
Director: Donna Straitiff

Trustee Alternates: Linda Dodge, Lisa Wiley
Trustees Absent: Richard Isakson

Acceptance of Donations- Roberta motioned to accept report, Gillian seconded. All approved.
                               

REPORTS:

Secretary’s Report—Roberta Gordenstein-  Flo motioned to accept report, Gillian seconded. All      approved.
Town Bookkeeper’s Report--  Roberta motioned to accept report pending audit. Gillian seconded. All approved.
Treasurer’s Report—Flo Marsh- Roberta motioned to accept report pending audit. Gillian seconded. All approved.
Director’s Report—Donna Straitiff- Roberta motioned to accept report. Flo seconded. All approved.

OLD BUSINESS:
  1. 1894 Raffle- planned activities will be placed on hold until after the town election.   
  2. Warrant article- The article was accepted for posting.

NEW BUSINESS:
  1. Policy Review Schedule- Policies must be reviewed every five years, so Donna will work chronologically to present policies to the board for revision.
  2. Weeding Project- to be reviewed
  3. Filing Period for Open Positions – Jan. 24 – Feb. 2
  4. Rindge 250 Celebration: There will be a postcard with a calendar of events mailed to Rindge residents. Charter Day will be February 11 at the Meetinghouse. February 23rd the library will host Jim Critser, a local historian. More events to follow.

OTHER GROUP REPORTS:
  1. Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: an author is scheduled to come in September sponsored by the Friends. They will also be creating a float for the 250th Parade, and be funding the replacing of the flag.

Roberta motioned to adjourn at 5:32, Gillian seconded. All approved.
