Trustee Meeting Minutes
December 28, 2021
Trustees present: Karla MacLeod, Flo Marsh, Roberta Gordenstein, and Linda Dodge
Director: Donna Straitiff
Absent: Dick Isakson, Jeff Dickler and Lisa Wiley
At 4:30 Karla moved that the meeting be open for a public hearing, Linda seconded. No public attended. It was voted to accept $8,654 from the NH Charitable Foundation to be used for AWE learning stations for the youth department. At 4:35 Roberta moved to close the public hearing, Flo seconded this motion, all agreed.
Acceptance of donations: Roberta motioned to accept donations; Flo seconded. All approved.

- Secretary’s Report: Roberta motioned to accept the report, Flo seconded. All approved.
- Town Bookkeeper’s Report for October: Linda motioned to accept Roberta seconded.
- Treasurer’s Report: Linda motioned to accept, Roberta seconded. All approved. It was noted that the Library’s pay out from the Trust Fund would increase to $900 quarterly.
- Director’s Report: Roberta motioned to accept, Linda seconded. All approved.
Old business:
- Linda questioned Donna about progress in changes to the Library web site, particularly making a link to the state library system. There may be a way to link other libraries in the state, as well. Donna will look into this for the next meeting.
New business:
- The Hunt Grant to the Library was approved, Donna reported.
- Donna reported that she had applied for a wildflower grant which includes $1,000 in cash and 2,000 seed packages. Flo motioned to accept the grant, Roberta seconded, all agreed.
- Donna noted that the Library would not be receiving an emergency generator through ARPA funding, but would be eligible for another grant once the Library is designated as an emergency shelter.
Other group reports:
- Ingalls 1894 Association: Roberta reported that the Association’s participation in Giving Tuesday was not as successful as its prior participation.
- Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: no news to report.
