TRUSTEE MEETING
Minutes 
November 28, 2023
Present: Roberta Gordenstein, Karla MacLeod, Flo Marsh, Lisa Wiley, Linda Dodge, Taylor Ratcliffe
Director: Donna Straitiff
Absent: Pat Paige
Acceptance of Donations – Roberta motioned to accept the report. Lisa seconded. All approved.                             
REPORTS:
Secretary’s Reports—Linda Dodge – Lisa motioned to accept the report. Flo seconded. All approved. 
Town Bookkeeper’s Report – Flo motioned to accept the report pending audit. Roberta seconded. All approved. 
Treasurer’s Reports—Flo Marsh – Linda motioned to accept the report pending audit. Lisa seconded. All approved.  
Director’s Reports—Donna Straitiff – Lisa motioned to accept the Director’s report. Flo seconded. All approved.
OLD BUSINESS:

1. Donations in memory of Dick: Funds donated need to be spent by the end of the year. The board is recommending rehabilitating or replacing the front screen door and will propose this to the town admin. Karla motioned to pursue the screen door option, Linda seconded. All approved.
   

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Budget Update: Donna is working to update the  library network and computers with funds donated last year.
2. Year End Update: The library is in good shape keeping within the budget. Programming, new patrons added and circulation are ahead of previous years. 

OTHER GROUP REPORTS:

1. Ingalls 1894 Association: The group sent postcards to town residents to invite donations. Some funds have arrived.
   
2. Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: The group raised funds through potholder sales. They held a centerpiece creation program that went well.
