OLD BUSINESS:
- LCHIP checklist update: Donna has put together more pieces of the grant and turned them over to the town administrator for finalization.
- Update on grants: Donna is finalizing publicity for coming events and purchased items according to grant guidelines.
- ILL policy: Donna is working with state librarians to organize a system to streamline the interlibrary loan procedures.
- Other: Wage pool increases are being eliminated in the town system. The library has the option to create a different plan for staff wage increases. Lisa motioned to accept the proposed Cost of Living adjustment for the time period of April 1st, 2020 through December 31st, 2020. Roberta seconded. All approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Installation of new technology: Computers have been purchased through the ALA grant to support the census. They will be installed for public use soon.
- Candidate’s night: March 2nd at the Recreation Center
- Procedure manual: Donna is looking to update current library procedures. She will work with library staff to assist in the process.
- Other: The seeds have been donated from Seed Savers and a local donor. Staff are updating records to be accessible in the library catalog.
OTHER GROUP REPORTS:
- Ingalls 1894 Association: The group met recently and welcomed new members.
- Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: There was a cake bake-off and new members are showing interest in getting involved.
- Donna contacted the Walpole Public Library to arrange a trip to view their renovations.
