Trustee Meeting
Minutes
October 28, 2025
Present: Karla MacLeod, Pat Paige, Flo Marsh, Sue Kochinskas, Lorraine Horne, Roberta Gordenstein
Director: Donna Straitiff
Acceptance of Donations: Roberta makes motion to accept donations. Pat seconded. All approved.
Public Hearing: Acceptance of $5000 grant from Greater Washington Community Foundation:
Opened: 4:00pm
Voted to accept the donation.
Discussion centered around how wonderful the donation was for the library and how the money could be used.
Closed: 4:32pm
Reports:
Secretary’s Reports- Pat makes a motion to accept report with changes. Linda seconded. All approved.
Town’s Bookkeepers Report- Linda makes a motion to accept report. Pat seconded. All approved.
Treasurer’s Report- Linda makes a motion to accept report with corrections. Pat seconded. All approved.
Director’s Report- Pat makes motion to accept report. Linda seconded. All approved.
Old Business:
Water is all set.
Mike had quote for windows.
Mike will purchase and store air conditioners before the end of the year.
Joint Session scheduled for next week. November 5th.

Employee Appreciation Luncheon: Tuesday November 18th Set-up 10:30-11:00am. Discussion centered around what each trustee was making or bringing.

Old Business:
- Phone system conversion: All done and went smoothly. Cost $104 plus fees, phone, fax, elevator, and internet. We will not be charged for the Fiber.
- Other Projects Update: Handicap Entrance will be done in the spring.

- Budget Review: Budget kept the same as the 2025 budget. 3% raise and 2% increase.

- Support Your Library: Joe did a tab on our website: Ideas to support your library. He did a fantastic job!
- 2026 Holiday Schedule: Same holidays as last year. Trustees voted to accept. Flo motioned to accept. Linda seconded. All approved.

Other Group Reports:
- Ingalls 1894 Association: Will have an ad with a writeup in the Chamber Newsletter.
- Friends of Ingalls Memorial Library: Filed paperwork for status as an Organization.
