Trustee Meeting
Minutes
September 23, 2025
Present: Karla MacLeod, Flo Marsh, Linda Dodge, Lorraine Horne, Susan Kochinskas
Meeting opened 3:00 pm
Special Guests from Bar Harbor Wealth Management Bryan Sanford and Nancy Silva.
Bryan S. thoroughly reviewed how investments fare and gave a healthy report of our investments. Trustee signatures obtained. Nancy followed up with asking any follow-up questions. She asked if there were any follow-up questions. She will reach out once a year.
Acceptance of Donations: Linda makes motion to accept donations. Flo seconded. All approved.
Reports:
Secretary's Reports-Flo makes a motion to accept report. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
Town's Bookkeepers Report-Flo makes a motion to accept report. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
Treasurer's Report- Linda makes a motion to accept report. Susan seconded. All approved.
Director's Report-Flo makes a motion to accept report. Linda seconded. All approved.
Old Business:
1. Project Update: Generator hook up scheduled for Sept. 30th
2. Water filtration system scheduled for Sept. 30th to include a new bladder. Donna ordered two water coolers in the meantime to ensure good clean water.
3. Phone System Update: Fidium in the process of negotiating changing over their system. Donna will continue to follow up.
4. Other Old Business: None at this time.
New Business:
1. Upcoming budget process: The Deliberative session is in January. Proposed Schedule 2026 Budget posted and reviewed by Trustees today. Budget schedule for the library submitted by Donna for Trustee consideration.
2. Morgan Stanley rep Bruce Sargent has checked in with Flo regarding the board wanting to make any changes at this time. Status quo remains.
3. Kate's position is now covered with Rachael as of today.
4. Other new business: None at this time.
Other Group Reports:
1. Ingalls 1894 Association: the Board will be meeting within the month.
2. F.O.I.L. met this past month after a summer hiatus. Nothing to report.
