OLD BUSINESS:
- Update on projects: The projects have begun getting planned with timelines. Lisa motioned to allow Donna to act on quotes for work without waiting for the next trustee meeting. Pat seconded. All approved.
- Youth librarian position: There are currently a few candidates. Donna is looking for options with more credentials. Lisa motioned to increase the starting range for the position. Pat seconded. All approved. Lisa and Karla will be on the search committee.
- Author Visit: Hanna Pylvainen will be coming on October 7th.
- Summer Reading Update: The kickoff was a success and over 70 people have registered.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Youth Department Substitute through mid August
- Review of Youth job description
- Chamber After Hours: Pat is looking to interview Donna for a Chamber of Converse fall newsletter. The focus would be library programs. There would be an onsite Meet & Greet after hours event.
- Chamber donation to SRP: The Chamber of Commerce generously donated $1000 to the Summer Reading Program.
OTHER GROUP REPORTS:
- Ingalls 1894 Association: Judy Unger-Clark shared that NH Gives raised over 3 million throughout the state. The association had 13 donors, about half of the amount from previous years.
- Friends of the Ingalls Memorial Library: there are programs being planned for the fall.
