Present: Karla MacLeod, Flo Marsh, Lorraine Horne, Robert Terk, Patricia Paige, Susan Kochinskas, Roberta Gordenstein, Deb Whitney
Director: Donna Straitiff
Meeting opened 4:33 pm
Acceptance of Donations: Flo makes motion to accept donations. Robert seconded. All approved.
REPORTS:
Secretary's Reports- Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Flo seconded. All approved.
Town's Bookkeepers Report-Flo makes a motion to accept report. Patricia seconded. All approved.
Treasurer's Report- Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
Director's Report-Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Flo seconded. All approved.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Policy Review-Emergency Closing Policy updated. Flo makes a motion to accept. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
2. Policy Review-Gifts and Memorial Policy updated. Flo makes a motion to accept. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
3. Policy Review-Interlibrary Loan Policy will be presented at next meeting.
4. Other Old Business: Automatic Door. Mike has been in touch with the automatic door company. After photos are taken, Mike will follow up with them for the quote.
5. Window Project Update: There are 3 window projects running concurrently.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Policy Review-Internet Access Policy- Presented to the Board
2. Policy Review-Investment Policy- Presented to the Board
3. Policy Review-Material Donations Policy- Presented to the Board
4. Summer Reading: Joe is well organized and underway; finale is all planned
5. Other new business: Nothing new to report related to the library.
OTHER GROUP REPORTS:
1. Ingalls 1894 Association: the Board met on May 5, 2026. NH Gives is June 9. The Board for 1894 is waiting for quote for automatic door from Mike.
2. F.O.I.L. met May 13, 2026. Non charitable status with the state still in process. Donna reported a number of scheduled activities are in process including a presence at the upcoming Women's Club Harvest Fair.
