Present: Karla MacLeod, Flo Marsh, Lorraine Horne, Robert Terk, Patricia Page, Susan Kochinskas, Roberta Goldenstein, Deb Whitney
Director: Donna Straitiff
Meeting opened 4:30 pm
Acceptance of Donations: Flo makes motion to accept donations. Patricia seconded. All approved.
REPORTS:
Secretary's Reports - Flo makes a motion to accept report. Patricia seconded. All approved.
Town's Bookkeepers Report-Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Flo seconded. All approved.
Treasurer's Report- Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Lorraine seconded. All approved.
Director's Report-Patricia makes a motion to accept report. Flo seconded. All approved.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Policy Review-Mission Statement reviewed and updated. Flo makes a motion to accept. Robert seconded. All approved.
2. Policy Review-Art Display reviewed and updated. Flo makes a motion to accept. Robert seconded. All approved.
3. Policy Review-Collection Development reviewed and updated. Flo makes a motion to accept. Robert seconded. All approved.
4. Other Old Business: Automatic Door. Mike took a look at Jaffrey's library's door and didn't see a problem moving forward by providing a quote to Ingall's 1894.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Window project update-BOS approved all 3 window projects.
2. Policy Review-Emergency Closing Policy-Trustees of the Ingalls Memorial Library to review sample and finalize.
3. Policy Review-Gifts and Memorials Policy- Trustees of the Ingalls Memorial Library to review sample and finalize.
4. Policy Review-Interlibrary Loan Policy- Trustees of the Ingalls Memorial Library to review sample and finalize.
5. Other new business: Children's Librarian, Joe, has applied for and been awarded two grants.
OTHER GROUP REPORTS:
1. Ingalls 1894 Association: the Board will be meeting May 5, 2026. The group will move forward with June campaign with NH Gives.
2. F.O.I.L. met April 8, 2026. With Donna's help, The Friends of the Ingalls Library is currently in good standing 501(c)(3) per the NH Registered Charitable. It is also encouraging to welcome new members and their ideas and enthusiasm. Lorraine Horne is now ex-officio.
